Project Profile - School Auditorium
The Logan-Magnolia Iowa Community School District was in need of a modern sound system upgrade for their High School's Auditorium. Direct Pro Audio provided a complete sound system upgrade on-time and under budget.
The old system was comprised of a limited-coverage 70 volt system controlled from behind the stage curtains. Wall jacks for microphone inputs were no longer compatible with modern standards.
Direct Pro Audio replaced the old system with a seamless-coverage, three-speaker, low impedance design. Microphone jacks were replaced with jacks compliant with current standards. Control of the sound system was moved to the audio/video booth at the front of the house. Finally, new Shure hanging microphones were installed to pick up sound from the stage.
